On behalf of the Asia Pacific Neuroendocrine Tumour Society [APNETS], I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to participate in the 3rd Annual Conference of the Asia Pacific Neuroendocrine Tumour Society [APNETS] to be held in Penang, Malaysia from 30th–31st October 2015. The meeting aims to bring together experts in the field of neuroendocrine tumour disease to discuss the latest developments and best practices in its management.

The primary objective of the Asia Pacific Neuroendocrine Tumour Society [APNETS] is to improve the understanding and management of neuroendocrine tumour (NET) disease in the Asia Pacific region through international collaboration and research.

The APNETS Conference 2015 is planned for healthcare professionals, researchers and scientists from a whole array of different specialties of surgery, internal medicine, oncology, endocrinology, pathology, gastroenterology, diagnostic & interventional radiology and nuclear medicine. Leading experts from around the world will deliberate on the various aspects of diagnosis and management of NET. It is hoped that this meeting will provide an avenue for intellectual interaction and networking with the faculty who are experts in the field.

Given the tremendous strides made in the understanding of neuroendocrine tumour disease, the APNETS Conference 2015 will be an opportunity to explore the scientific advances in the art and science of this rare disease.

In the days ahead, we urge you to make plans to join us in Penang for this scientific meeting of the Asia Pacific Neuroendocrine Tumour Society [APNETS] and also to start work on your abstracts and posters for submission and presentation during the conference.

With our collective efforts and resolve we will be able to improve the understanding and research in the field of NET disease in the Asia Pacific region.
